Elected Executive Council (2016-19) of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS)

The installation ceremony of the newly elected Executive Council (2016-19) of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) was held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) recently.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith was present at that event as the chief guest. Md. Shahriar Alam, State Minister, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication, and Information Technology, attended the occasion as special guests.

Shameem Ahsan, departing President of BASIS, handed over the BASIS flag and BASIS activities report to the newly elected President, Mustafa Jabbar. The departing Executive Council welcomed the new Executive Council with flowers. A special reception was given to all former presidents of BASIS at the ceremony. Russell T Ahmed, Senior Vice-President of BASIS, moderated the session.
