BGMEA received the "ASOCIO Outstanding User Award" for Biometric Worker Database

This year BGMEA has been awarded the "Best Outstanding User Organization Award" by ASOCIO for using 'Biometric Identity and Worker Information Management System (Worker Database)'. "ASOCIO Digital Masters Summit 2018" held in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. David Wong, Chairman of ASOCIO and others handed over this honorary award to BGMEA.

BGMEA President Mr. Siddiqur Rahman, BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mr. Mohammad Nasir and on behalf of the Software Manufacture and Maintenance Company, CEO of Systech Digital Limited Mr. M Rashidul Hasan received the award on behalf of BGMEA as special guests of the ASOCIO award ceremony. The Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) is consist of 24 economic countries in Asia and Oceania regions. ASOCIO offers this honorary recognition under four categories to the best companies and projects nominated from 24 countries every year.

It is to be noted here that in 2013, the 'Biometric Identity and Worker Information Management System (Worker Database)' software is implemented throughout the country with the initiative of BGMEA to ensure all the facilities to the owners and workers of the growing ready-made garment industry. It's a unique software system, which stores biometric fingerprints, pictures, jobs and all other information of all workers in the factory in the local and cloud server databases, which are used later on to identify and confirm with all other factory workers. This database provides all kinds of information related to Service Book, Insurance, UD, Cash Incentive and other purposes in one-click to the garment industry personnel. Currently, this software is using by more than 2300 factories of BGMEA for more than 3.5 million workers every day. Our local organization Tiger IT Bangladesh and Systech Digital Limited have technically assisted in developing, installing, training and maintaining this unique software system.
